Students and parents often come together to these introductory visits, touring campuses and taking part in information sessions. Whether you are going to be a high school senior, junior, or sophomore, these visits can help you discover just what you're looking for in a college.

The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is taking applications. Are you a senior? Do you plan to enroll full time at a 4-year college or university in 2015-2016? Do you plan to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry? If so, this is the scholarship for you! Abbott & Fenner are committed to helping those who have the desire and ambition to succeed. A&F scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. To apply for this $1,000 scholarship, you will need to write an essay on the following topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Include your full name and mailing address. Rosengren Kohlmeyer Law Office in Mankato is offering a scholarship in the amount of $500. This opportunity is for Minnesota students who are interested in a future career in law. Special consideration will be given to high school seniors who have participated in mock trials and debate! The scholarship application deadline is May 31, 2015. The Milford O. Larson and Lois M. Larson Scholarship Program is awarding scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be high school seniors who reside within a 50-mile radius of North Mankato and attend high school in one of the following counties: Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, McLeod, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, and Watonwan.
- Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year.
- Have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.2 on a 4.0 scare (or its equivalent.)
- Pursue a course of study in one of the following technical areas: science, business, technology, engineering, pre-med, accounting or pre-law. Social science, arts, and political science course of study are ineligible.
